Holocaust shooting...
Is it me or has there been alot more shootings by "nutz" here lately? I think it's a left wing conspiracy to push for more gun control and the eventual abolishment of the 2nd Ammendment. Just a thought.

Some Life Lessons
This is something we should all read at least once a week,

Written By Regina Brett, 90 years old, of The Plain Dealer, Cleveland , Ohio .

"To celebrate growing older, I once wrote the 45 lessons life taught me. It is the most-requested column I've ever written.

My odometer rolled over to 90 in August, so here is the column once more:

1. Life isn't fair, but it's still good.

2. When in doubt, just take the next small step.

3. Life is too short to waste time hating anyone.

4. Your job won't take care of you when you are sick. Your friends and parents will. Stay in touch.

5. Pay off your credit cards every month.

6. You don't have to win every argument. Agree to disagree.

7. Cry with someone. It's more healing than crying alone.

8. It's OK to get angry with God. He can take it.

9. Save for retirement starting with your first pay check.

10. When it comes to chocolate, resistance is futile.

11. Make peace with your past so it won't screw up the present.

12. It's OK to let your children see you cry.

13. Don't compare your life to others. You have no idea what their journey is all about.

14. If a relationship has to be a secret, you shouldn't be in it.

15. Everything can change in the blink of an eye. But don't worry; God never blinks.

16. Take a deep breath. It calms the mind.

17. Get rid of anything that isn't useful, beautiful or joyful.

18. Whatever doesn't kill you really does make you stronger.

19. It's never too late to have a happy childhood. But the second one is up to you and no one else.

20. When it comes to going after what you love in life, don't take no for an answer.

21. Burn the candles, use the nice sheets, wear the fancy lingerie. Don't save it for a special occasion. Today is special.

22. Over prepare, then go with the flow.

23. Be eccentric now. Don't wait for old age to wear purple.

24. The most important sex organ is the brain.

25. No one is in charge of your happiness but you.

26. Frame every so-called disaster with these words: 'In five years, will this matter?'

27. Always choose life.

28. Forgive everyone everything.

29. What other people think of you is none of your business.

30. Time heals almost everything. Give time time.

31. However good or bad a situation is, it will change.

32. Don't take yourself so seriously. No one else does.

33. Believe in miracles.

34. God loves you because of who God is, not because of anything you did or didn't do.

35. Don't audit life. Show up and make the most of it now.

36. Growing old beats the alternative -- dying young.

37. Your children get only one childhood.

38. All that truly matters in the end is that you loved.

39. Get outside every day. Miracles are waiting everywhere.

40. If we all threw our problems in a pile and saw everyone else's, we'd grab ours back.

41. Envy is a waste of time. You already have all you need.

42. The best is yet to come.

43. No matter how you feel, get up, dress up and show up.

44. Yield.

45. Life isn't tied with a bow, but it's still a gift."

Because I am straight up the middle independant I will give Obama credit when credit is due!

Incase you didn't know, on Monday Obama will sign an executive order overturning Bush's 2001 executive order banning stem cell research in the US. It is fucking sad and tragic at the time lost over the last eight years in research and advances that could have been made. Thank you sir for this.

Next week Obama will be looking into relaxing the sanctions on Cuba. Thank you! I want some fucking cigars! No, seriously! This is a WAY out of date sanction. It was ONE thing back in the 50's-80's. Maybe even part of the 90's. But for crying out loud! What threat does Cuba create? None! It's time to move on and deregulate this.

Now for the FAIL!

Obama this week hosted the Prime Minister of Britain our greatest allie in EVERYTHING. First he snubs him by not having a big hoopla press conference. As someone who has been in the government for many years, dealt with Ambassador staffing and more THIS IS BIG! You may think it's no big deal, but it is. And to add insult to injury the Prime Minister gave Obama a gift of a pen and ornate desk name plaque made from the timbers of the HMS President PLUS gave Obama's daughters dresses from London specialty shops. What did Obama give them? 25 DVD's of American Movies to include ET and WARS along with two $15 die-cast models of the Presidental helicopter Marine One. Oooooooooooooo. Bad. But in fairness to Obama...he does have advisors for this shit. But still....OUCH!

Way to go Democrat Congress & Post Office!
So the post office is looking to cut mail service to 5 days a week and the is a 2 cent raise in stamps coming in May. Post Master General Potter says there is nothing he can do and has scrubbed the books to keep he post office out of the red.

Interesting that in 2007 he was paid $180,000+ but in 2008 he got a pay increase to $260,000+. Also got a BONUS of $130,000 last year with a total pay and compensation of $850,000+. Now WHO gave him this pay raise? Your congress that just passed the insane "Stimulus Package" and the same congress that has been bashing CEO's for their pay and incentive pays.

Now granted, the pay & incentives given to PMG Potter is a FRACTION of the shit Wall Street CEO's paid themselves, it is a bit hypocritical. But I'm getting used to the lies and hypocritical ways of our government. It took a few months for the Bush Administartion to learn it. Obama & friends have it down inside of a month.

Bipartisanship FAILED. Rebuttal is a BIGGER failure. Obama fear politics.
Rep. Heath Shuler (D-N.C) has stated that both majority leaders Nancy Pelosi and Harry Reid failed in the bipartisanship of this spending bill. Funny, Harry Reid retorts with something to the effect "you're going to listen to a man who threw more interceptions than touchdowns and was the fourth biggest draft bust in NFL history." For those who DON'T know, Heath Shuler was drafted in the first round of the 94 NFL draft and did horrible. Now how does that have anything to do with anything with politics Mr Reid? Nice one.

Now onto Obama.

Didn't he preach about stopping the "politics of fear" during his campaign? Hmmmm. It took Bush a couple months to perfect his "politics of fear" but that was after four airplanes were hijacked. Obama is in office less than a month and he's got it down perfect with his "doom and gloom" of the economy to quickly sneak this stimulus bill past us.

Obama is looking more and more like a tool and a puppet of Harry Reid and Nancy Pelosi. He's coming out as a bigger puppet than Bush was. Sad thing is that unlike Bush, Obama has millions of his Obama-bots still in a trance like state. Hmmm. Guess the Obama-bots are like little kids entranced watching Seasame Street...which also uses puppets. HAHA!

Stimulus against religion and socializing health care?
OK, so with more research into this SPENDING package this is a passage in there that funds are prohibited from being used for the "modernization, renovation, or repair" of facilities that allow "sectarian instruction, religious worship or a school or department of divinity."

No, federal money should NOT be used to build NEW churches or help failing religous organization. There is the seperation of church and state. BUT there are places of worship on military installations which would require federal money. Plus the way that it is worded and presented if a college or other public facility was to use the money on their student center then those buildings can not be used for prayer groups or religous meetings.

I'm not a religous person, but I respect religon for the most part. This totally violates the First Amendment! But this line is supported by the ACLU, interestingly enough by supporting it they will be assuredly kept in buisness.

Onto Health Care...

The bill’s health rules will affect “every individual in the United States”. Your medical treatments will be tracked electronically by a federal system. Having electronic medical records at your fingertips, easily transferred to a hospital, is beneficial. It will help avoid duplicate tests and errors. As someone that works in Health Care, this makes TOTAL sense and I like it. But is it stimulus?

But the bill goes further. One new bureaucracy, the National Coordinator of Health Information Technology, will monitor treatments to make sure your doctor is doing what the federal government deems appropriate and cost effective. The goal is to reduce costs and “guide” your doctor’s decisions. These provisions in the stimulus bill are virtually identical to what Daschle prescribed in his 2008 book, “Critical: What We Can Do About the Health-Care Crisis.” According to Daschle, doctors have to give up autonomy and “learn to operate less like solo practitioners.”

We already have to deal with HMO's to fight for what we need for our health! Now the GOV'T wants in on it. That is Socialized Medicine. The military already uses it yes. Canada, England, France and other countries use it, yes! I'm not against it. But for CHRIST SAKE it needs to be carefully hashed out. Not snuck in late on this past Saturday and get pushed through.

Too much is being snuck in secretly and it's fucking scary kids!

OBAMA and his Socialist ideas at it again...
So NOW Obama is up for limiting the the pay to top executives receiving bailout to $500,000?!?! Don't get me wrong, they shouldn't receive a BONUS being a bonus is for an exceptional job which they haven't done. The government limiting the amount of money people make is SOCIALISM!

This is a slippery slope we travel on. First we say "bail out companies" then that can lead to "federal funded organizations". That would mean COLLEGES and numerous other organizations could have to limit salaries because they accept federal funding. Also with these bailout companies, you limit their top executives to $500,000 and they either quit or retire before they finish paying off the debt, who's going to apply to fill that space?

Funny thing is that A LOT of these banks and financial organizations FAILED because Obama's buddies at ACORN pressured them into making the bad loans and pushed for sub-prime lending.

This is dangerous territory.

The Democratic Stimulus break down... I don't know how to do a cut. Sorry!
First of all, the plan wasn't drafted by Obama but but Nancy Pelosi which people tend to fail to mention. Giving the credit to The Savior Obama when credit isn't due. It's filled with the pet pork projects the Democratic Party have been wishing for over the last 30+ years.

Now that it's pushing $900,000,000,000 let's see this "stimulus"! All this from CNN.com.

1) $2 Billion earmarked to re-start FutureGen, a near-zero emissions coal power plant in Illinois that the Department of Energy defunded last year because it said the project was "inefficent". Me: Inefficent= waste of money. Hmmm, Obama is from Illinois. Way to take care of your home state.

2) $246 Million tax break for Hollywood movie producers to buy motion picture film. ME: WTF! Who is that going to stimulate? Multi-millionaires! The film industry is actually doing OK, but way to look out for you political backers pal.

3)$650 Million for the Digital television converter box coupon program. ME: Yet again, how is this going to stimulate the economy? Plus how many more boxes need coupons? Can't be 16,250,000 boxes! That's what the $650 million divided by $40 coupon equal.

4) $88 Million for the Coast Guard to design a new polar ice breaker. ME: Stimulus? Sounds like special interest. I watched a show on polar ice breakers last week on History Channel and teh Coast Guard just commissioned a new ship in 2007!

5)$448 Million for construction the Department of Homeland Security HQ. ME: OK, this Department has been around for SEVEN years. Now they need a new HQ? Come on! Stimulus? Stimulating who?

6)$248 Million for furniture at the new Department of Homeland Security HQ. ME: See above!

7)$600 Million to by hybrid vehicles for federal employees. ME: OK, I see this. This can be instant stimulus to the BIG THREE auto makes and make it part of their bail out.

8)$400 Milion for the Center for Disease Control to screen and prevent STD's. ME: Yes, this may SAVE money down the line but it sure isn't STIMULUS.

9)$1.4 Billion for rural waste disposal programs. ME: Yet again, not stimulus. Sounds like special interest to farmers.

10)$125 Million for the Washington sewer system. ME: Not stimulus. Does it REALLY need to be done NOW?

11)$150 Million to the Smithsonian museum facilities. ME: I am all for preserving the arts and museums, but this is NOT stimulus. Pet project.

12)$1 Billion for the 2010 Census which has a projected cost overrun of $3 Billion. ME: Yes, it needs to be paid for, but it's NOT stimulus.

13)$75 Million for smoking cessation activities! ME: WTF! Pet Project!

14)$200 million for public computer centers at community colleges. ME: Sounds like another pet project, not stimulus. Someone should apporach Bill Gates to donate puters. Plus, colleges already have puter access. WASTE.

15)$75 Million for for salaries of employees of the FBI. ME: Don't they have a budget already? This would be a BAILOUT not a stimulus.

16)$25 Million for tribal alcohol abd substance abuse reduction. ME: Another pet project NOT stimulus.

18)$500 for flood reduction projects on the Mississippi River. ME: OK, stimulus if it's spread along the whole or majority of the river. And it an infrastructure project.

19)$412 million for CDC buildings and property. ME: Pet project!

20)$850 Million for Amtrak. ME: Unfortunatley we keep bailing them out. And that's what this is...bailout. Not stimulus.

21)$100 Million for reucing the hazard of lead based paint. ME: NOT stimulus. Christ! It's 2009! Isn't this old news?

22)$110 Million to upgrade the Farm Service computer systems. ME:What? Do they all have Commodore 64s?

I can keep going on for awhile. But people REALLY look at this "Stimulus Plan". There are some good things in there. But are they bailout, pet projects or stimulus? There is a difference. We don't need to mortgage our future on the fears of today. Most these projects won't even take effect for 2 years!

Thank you Obama...
I just saw on Modern Marvels "Underwear" that in 91 the average woman's bra size was a 34B. Now, today, it is a comfy 36C.

Thank you Obama.

Writer's Block: You Wouldn't Understand
Almost everyone coins or uses expressions that make sense to only a few people. What word or phrase do you use most often that you have to explain the meaning of to others?

1) That's the pot calling the kettle black.
2) Don't cut your nose off to spite your face.
3) That'll go over like a fart in a space suit.

The Obama stimulus plan...
Why is Obama and Friends pushing so hard with numerous economist around the country saying that the stimulus plan won't even kick into effect until AFTER the country pulls it self out plus the 4 million jobs won't even kick in for another two years! Can't it wait? Can't they sit on it for a little and make sure it's done right? For Christ Sake! He's been in office a week!

What this sounds like is he's playing off of peoples fears like Bush did after 9/11. Terrorists attack so let's go into IRAQ! The country is in recession so let's drop a TRILLION DOLLARS right now!

If they're gonna drop that much, do it right. We already dropped BILLIONS and it seems to be wasted.

Oh yeah, no one seems to be talking about Obama approving air strikes into Pakistan.

Damn Obama influencing American Idol!!!!
OK, at work in the background the ladies I work with are watching American Idol. Well because of Obama and his preaching of "HOPE" there are so many people who sing like barking dogs or worse. Why? WHY?!?! You suck people. Don't even bother!

Thanks alot OBAMA for preaching "HOPE"!

OK, I know it has nothing to do with Obama. He just didn't do anything fucked up today (that I know of) so I felt like blaming him for SOMETHING. Hehe.
